X Bookmark Organizer is a Chrome extension that helps you organize your X.com (Twitter) bookmarks into folders. This policy explains how your data is handled.

2. Data Collection

This extension does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API (chrome.storage.local).

3. What Data Is Stored Locally

• Bookmark content scraped from your X.com bookmarks page (tweet text, author name, images, engagement counts)
• Folder names and colors you create
• Your theme preference (dark/light)

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, or transmit any data to external servers. Zero data leaves your browser. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry.

5. Permissions Used

• "storage": To save your bookmarks and folders locally
• "tabs": To open the dashboard and sync tabs
• Host permissions for x.com/twitter.com: To run the content script that reads your bookmarks page

6. Third-Party Services

This extension does not communicate with any third-party services. The only network requests are to X.com (initiated by you) and Google Fonts (for the dashboard UI font).

7. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data. You can also clear data via Chrome's extension settings.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date.
